Hello, welcome to
Naturally Neighbours Initiative
Not just protecting nature,
partnering with it
Nature, Reimagined Together
Our Vision
Naturally Neighbours Initiative exists because governments and nonprofit giants have failed — wasting time, resources, and lives under the banner of “conservation” while nature disappears. We reject their greed, red tape, and passive strategies.
Our vision is direct:
To repurpose land for the wild.
To release captive animals ethically, without waiting for permission.
To protect biodiversity through action, not empty pledges.
To educate, rewild, and restore — on our terms.
We’re not preserving nature.
We’re rebuilding it.
Our Mission
To restore what others allowed to collapse.
Naturally Neighbours Initiative is built on action — not excuses.
We refuse to stand by while outdated systems and self-serving organisations destroy what little remains.
Our mission is clear:
- To repurpose land for the return of wildlife
- To release captive animals where it serves true conservation
- To work alongside researchers who drive real innovation
- To educate the next generation to rebuild and protect, not just observe
We don’t fight to save nature — nature will recover with or without us.
We fight because if we fail, the damage to life — ours included — will be permanent.
Protecting nature is not an act of charity.
It’s the price of survival.
Our Core Pillars

🌍 Land to Life
We identify underutilized or degraded land and transform it into thriving wild habitats — ensuring animals have safe, sustainable spaces to live, breed, and roam freely.

🧠 Shared Ground
We work with underprivileged youth and local communities, equipping them with knowledge and skills to become guardians of the natural world — fostering pride, opportunity, and coexistence.

🧬 Science for Survival
We support responsible, non-invasive scientific studies that advance wildlife conservation. From genetics to behavioral studies, every project is reviewed for ethical integrity and real-world impact.

⚖️ Balance by Design
We reject outdated, rigid approaches to wildlife management. Instead, we use proactive and innovative methods that prevent extinction, reduce genetic bottlenecks, and preserve predator-prey balance.
Together, we’re proving that small changes ripple into big transformations.
Naturally Neighbours Initiative fully supports ethical, data-driven research on wild animals in captivity.
We recognize that habituated wildlife — when managed with care and integrity — provide unparalleled access to the knowledge required for meaningful conservation. As wild populations decline, captive animals represent an irreplaceable genetic reservoir and a controlled model for advancing reproductive science, behavioral understanding, and species recovery.
Rejecting outdated ideologies, we focus on what works: responsible, peer-reviewed collaboration that protects biodiversity through evidence, not opinion.
🐆 Supporting Groundbreaking Cheetah Research
We are proud to support an independent research project led by Portuguese veterinarian Sara Gonçalves MSc DVM, who is pioneering non-invasive methods to better understand the reproductive cycles of cheetahs.
Using positive reinforcement training, Sara is working with 8 cheetahs at Ukutula to enable trans-abdominal ultrasound imaging—a technique typically only possible under anaesthesia or restraint. Her work includes collecting daily hormone data, vaginal cytology, and CCTV-based behavioural analysis, aiming to identify estrus without stress or intrusion.
We want to be clear:
We are not conducting this research — we are simply the platform that enables it.
We provide access, infrastructure, and care so that professionals like Sara can do their work with the highest standards of ethics and scientific rigour.
The findings could benefit conservation efforts globally, particularly for the critically endangered Asiatic cheetah, whose wild population may be as low as 12 individuals. This kind of innovation is vital — but often underfunded.
If you’re passionate about making a real difference, please consider supporting this project. Every contribution helps fuel professional science that could help save a species.

We're Not Here to Beg — We're Here to Build.
No pity campaigns. No fake urgency.
Just wild land, real research, and animals with a future.
We support the science. We secure the space.
All we need is the fuel to keep going.
Back the work that matters.
Every cent fuels real change
