Reintroducing the Overlooked, Restoring the Balance
Aim
To support the ethical reintroduction of instinct-capable native species into free-roaming environments, challenging outdated assumptions about captivity and giving all wildlife — not just the iconic few — a second chance.
Summary
At Naturally Neighbours Initiative, we believe that every species has a place in the wild. While many conservation efforts focus solely on the most recognizable animals, we’re working to restore biodiversity by reintroducing adaptable, native species into safe, natural environments.
We focus on species that pose minimal threat to people and demonstrate strong survival instincts — animals often dismissed due to where or how they were raised. With access to vast, unmanaged land, we’re proving that instinct is not lost in captivity, and that coexistence is not only possible — it’s necessary.
Return to Neighbourlands is about rebuilding wild spaces in thoughtful, measured ways — one animal, one ecosystem at a time.
→ If you’re someone who believes in meaningful, measured impact — and want to help move conservation beyond just the spotlight species — we’d love to work with you. Landowners, scientists, vets, and anyone ready to act: let’s build something better.
